Worldwide UNESCO Club Youth Multimedia Competition
UNESCO, the U.N. organization that brings grass roots initiatives in Education, Science, and Culture, invites youth around the world to take part in this year’s Multimedia Competition. Our mission is to mobilize youth to purposefully use their talents to serve others now, ensuring even greater impact on the future.
Entrants should respond by making a 3-minute multimedia production, 500-700 word written essay, art work, or any method that channels a specific passion in answering the prompt. This year’s prompt is - Choose one of the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals and develop your solution to accomplish this aim. Who can Participate?
Youth around the world in three age groups: juniors - ages 10-14; youth - ages 15-19; and young adult - ages 20-24.

How to Submit your Work:
Step 1. Go to UNESCOUSA.org.
Step 2. Fill out the 1-page submission form at http://goo.gl/forms/YIAd58AXaNand. Review the contest terms and conditions. In the form, paste the link to your project. If that will not work, contactYouthContest@unescoUSA.org. Put in the subject line: 2016 UNESCO YMC and your name.

Prizes:
There will be 7 semifinalists for each age group who will receive a certificate. The 3 finalists in each age group will receive an official plaque engraved with their name and a certificate and an invitation to the Builders of the Universe Camp held during the summer of 2106 at Hood College in Frederick, Maryland. The invitation includes a scholarship for the fee for the camp, food, accommodations, and transport to and from the airport. Airfare is not included. There will be a special ceremony held for contest winners at the camp. In addition, the top 9 winners will be recognized and showcased in global UNESCO and USFUCA events during the year.
